August fundraiser 2015

First fund raiser brings in $2745.00. Upwards of 200 guests attended and witnessed the emotional Warrior Tribute given by Rex Hidle and Northeast School of Arts Band.  A beautiful evening was capped off by Scotty Alexander and Bo Hill from Nashville –  unbelievable talent and better yet great Americans!  Thanks to Bo and Scotty for fitting it in their busy schedule.

As one guest put it – ” it just don’t get any better than this – the SS American Memorial AND Wounded Warriors surrounded by AMERICANS!” What a night it was!

It could not have happened without all the fantastic volunteers making it a seamless evening for the guests. A big hats off to the volunteers from Caterpillar Inc. and Navarro High School – they came in force and stayed till the end getting it all cleaned up.

Big thanks to fellow veteran owner of LOYAL TEXAN BBQ for the fantastic eats – you knocked it out the park Paul Leal.

Our sponsored beer for the evening was Goliad Brewing providing a tasting booth – it worked guys because we almost sold out!!!!  Folks loved the suds -great job to owners Jimmy Rogers and Jack Medcalf!
